How to disassemble the drain pump (dishwasher)

Before any repair or maintenance operation, deactivate the appliance and disconnect the mains plug from the socket.

Before any repair or maintenance operation, turn off water supply to the appliance.
Make sure to use the product only for its designated purpose and verify that it is a compatible part for the intended product.

HOW TO REPLACE DRAIN PUMP
1. Remove the filter and it’s housing the use a small syringe and some old towels to drain the water in the sump.


2. Undo the four screws holding the bottom cover of the dishwasher and then pull the cover towards you to remove.


3. Carefully lift the dishwasher onto its left side. NOTE: Ensure you have full and correct floor protection against any damage or any residual water leaking.


4. Lift the foot adjusting screw out of the retaining clips on the base panel. (NOTE: During reinstallation check that the screw is operating correctly before lifting the dishwasher back up right).
Pull the foot adjusting screw out of the retaining slot in the basement and away from the cog for the back foot.


5. Slightly fold back the bottom of the side panels to unlock the tray. Pull the tray from the front and rotate it. Pull the tray outward to slide it out of the base.
When assembling, align the positioning snaps with the slots on the back and rotate the front of the tray on place.



6. Press the retaining clip holding the connector and pull out the connector from the drain pump.

7. Press the locking tab and rotate the drain pump counterclockwise to detach it from the sump.

8. When assembling, repeat steps in reverse order.
